Speech therapy is designed to support children from birth through adolescence who may need help with communication, feeding, or social-emotional development. Many families come to us because they notice their child:

  • Isn’t using as many words as expected

  • Gets frustrated when trying to communicate

  • Is hard to understand compared to same-age peers

  • Struggles with social play or back-and-forth interaction

  • Has difficulty following directions or understanding language

  • Has challenges with bottle feeding, transitioning to solids, or mealtime routines.

  • If something feels “off” or you’re not sure your child is meeting typical communication or feeding milestones, we’re here to help you figure out the next step with confidence and compassion.

You don’t need a diagnosis to begin.

Because we are private pay, families do not need a referral or a formal diagnosis to start services. Our trained SLPs can complete a full evaluation based on your child’s individual needs and create a personalized treatment plan that supports their development right away.

A Personalized Treatment Plan

Ongoing Therapy That Fits Your Family

Your child begins with a full evaluation led by a trained Speech-Language Pathologist. This visit is relaxed and developmentally appropriate. We look at communication, feeding, play, and daily routines so we can understand your child’s strengths and the areas where support may be needed.

After the evaluation, your SLP creates an individualized plan with clear goals related to your child’s specific needs. This may include feeding, articulation, language, social communication, or early developmental skills. You’ll also receive simple strategies you can use at home so progress continues between visits.

Therapy sessions are engaging, supportive, and tailored to your child. Your SLP adjusts activities based on your child’s development, participation, and progress. Parents are encouraged to observe and participate so they feel confident supporting their child outside of sessions.

Common Questions

Do I need a referral from my pediatrician?

If you are private pay, you do not need a referral or diagnosis to begin. You can start services as soon as a therapist is available. If you plan to use insurance reimbursement, some plans may require a referral. Families can check with their insurance company for specific requirements.

What happens during an evaluation?

Evaluations are gentle and play-based. Your SLP will look at communication, feeding, speech sounds, social interaction, and daily routines based on your child’s needs. You’ll receive a clear treatment plan afterward.

How do I know if my child needs speech therapy?

Many families reach out when they notice concerns with communication, speech clarity, feeding, or social interaction. If something feels “off” or you’re unsure whether your child is meeting milestones, an evaluation can give you clarity and guidance.

How long are therapy sessions?

Most sessions are 30–60 minutes, depending on your child’s age and goals. Your therapist will recommend the frequency that best supports progress.

Do you work with babies and toddlers?

Yes. We specialize in early communication and feeding. This includes first words, late talking, oral-motor development, bottle refusal, transitioning to solids, and early social connection.

Do you offer in-home or teletherapy sessions?

Depending on availability, we offer services in-home or telehealth. Families can choose what fits their routine best.

Do you accept insurance?

We are private pay, and families may request a superbill to submit to their insurance for possible reimbursement. Coverage depends on your individual plan.
